Few More Random pics--

Okay, test 1 worked, lets see if I can't throw another few pics up here....

but while I'm waiting for them to upload, let me tell you about the market I went to in Aurungabad. Syed, my driver that, day asked me if I wanted to go to the animal market...i was a little hesitant at first, but said "yeah, lets go." I have to say, it was AMAZING! Exactly what you would expect, right....One section is all livestock. Sheep, cows, buffalo, goats, Yaks....then it spills over into a fish market, and hopefully there will be a few pics on here from the fish section. People have their product out there and you come buy and pick out however much it is you want. They use hand scales to weigh out your fish, crabs, lobster, prawn eels...whatever you need....from there it goes into a vegetable market, then a special sugar section, which then leads into the spice section...and finally the "goods" market where you can get anything from pots and pans to car parts.

I got this one pic I LOVE of a guy scaling fish, hes looking up, smiling, and there are scales flying everywhere. We'll see if the picture makes it up on this post.

One of the guys who was selling buffalo was telling me about how sometimes the baby calf will die (it happens all the time he says) and subsequently either the mothers milk goes bad, or she stops making it all together...so what they do is skin the calf and stuff it with straw and dirt and lay it out in front of the mom to trick it into thinking she still had a calf...and hence keeps giving good milk.

u learn something new everyday

argh!!! so the pics won't upload now...don't know why....but I'll try again later

it sounds like you're having such a great time! I'm sooo jealous, especially as I sit here in my bizillion layers in northern Ohio watching the snow keep falling...that has been for the past week straight...
oh well, I'll be in Israel in less than a month....

as for a picture hosting site, you might wanna try photobucket.com. don't know how fast it will be in india, but i've had good luck with it here in the states.

hey aaron - i like snapfish (snapfish.com) but i think to easily upload pictures you may have to download software, which won't work for you, i am not sure. But you can share albums online once they are there so all your friends can log in an see them.
the snow is melting, holiday presents are (almost) bought - guess you will have to wait for yours...we'll miss you in st louis! Mike and i are heading to NYC this weekend to see the nutcracker with some friends. can't wait for that, almost as fun as seeing elephants washed in the streets, yet not quite!
love you

buzznet.com dude, and i found this other thing called the creative commons license, you might want to check it out and or put it on your blog: creativecommons.com
its a pretty solid copywrite script that allows limited access but protects the photorights pretty well, and its really fast to code into your blog

Great sunset shot; but then I am patial to sunset shots; and your grandfather would sit for hours waiting to get a 'green flash'.

Hope you can find some way to upload more shots, because while this shot is great---it could be from anywhere.
